University of Glasgow School of Computing Science
In 1957, the University of Glasgow became the first university in Scotland to have an electronic computer. Since then, the university’s School of Computing has built a reputation of excellence in the field of computing science teaching and research.
The School’s support of UGRacing’s Driverless Vehicle project has allowed the team to purchase cones and computing hardware, in addition to supplying the team with space to design, simulate and optimise the software necessary for competing with the IMechE’s AI platform at Formula Student UK.
The School’s continued support will prove invaluable towards UGRacing’s long-term goal to produce an electric-driverless EV-ADS entry in the near future.
